How do I delete my account?
Data Retention and Deletion
At Botika, we are committed to keeping your information secure and giving you control over your account. This guide explains our data deletion policies, including automatic removal for inactive accounts and how you can manually request the deletion of your data.
Automatic Deletion for Inactive Workspaces
To protect user privacy and manage our systems efficiently, Botika enforces an automatic data deletion policy for inactive accounts.
- If there is no activity in your workspace for 3 months (90 days), your workspace and all associated data will be automatically and permanently deleted.
- This deletion includes all uploaded Customer Data (such as your original product images) and any generated Licensed Photos.
- Keep your workspace active: If you want to retain your data but aren't currently generating new photos, simply logging into your Botika account periodically will reset the inactivity timer.
How to Request Data Deletion
If you no longer need your Botika account and want your data removed immediately, you do not need to wait for the 3-month inactivity period. You can request a manual deletion at any time.
- Email Support: Send a data deletion request to support@botika.com.
- Verification: To help us process your request securely and efficiently, please send the email from the address associated with your Botika account and clearly state that you are requesting the deletion of your workspace and data.
Important: Before Your Data is Deleted
Whether your data is deleted automatically due to inactivity or manually via an email request, please note that the deletion process is permanent and irreversible.
- Once deleted, you will no longer have access to the platform, your Licensed Photos, or your Customer Data.
- We strongly recommend exporting and downloading any photos, files, or information you wish to keep before submitting a deletion request or allowing your account to lapse into the 3-month inactivity period. Once the deletion occurs, the Company will not retain any copies of your data.
